Attitude of Gratitude

In light of the Thanksgiving Holiday, we would like to give thanks to a few of the wonderful vendors that make the Bridalize Boutique such a fun, fabulous place to plan the perfect wedding!  These seven vendors have been a part of the collective since the beginning and we are consistently grateful for their talent, support, and presence on the ever-growing all-star vendor team!

Double Down Productions ::  We're thankful that Jake brings over 20 years of DJ experience to the Bridalize team, along with extraordinary energy and enthusiasm.  This is why he's the best in the biz!

It's A Gift ::  We're not only thankful for all of the amazing personalized products Lisa has to offer for Brides, Grooms, Wedding Party, and Guests, but also that she offers us delicious leftovers and smothers us with mother bear love <3

Kara Pearson ::  We're thankful that Kara is not only an award winning photographer, but also a down-to-earth, sweet, mid-western gal.  If you ask her what kind of car she would be, she is a self-proclamed 4-Runner.

M. Todd Thiele Photography ::  We're thankful for Todd's beautiful, fine art photography, and we are so excited to see his unique talent and style cross over into the world of videography!  We are already grateful for Handsome Pants Productions... stay tuned for more info...

Marriage Makers ::  We're thankful Susan brings Bridalize nearly 30 years of experience and expertise working with couples and performing weddings.  With her she also brings impressive insight, inspiration, and intuition.

Preston Utley Photography ::  We're thankful for Preston's unique, raw talent and images, and also for his great sense of humor, and understated, mellow demeanor.  We're also thankful for his adorable Terrier named Juno- the Bridalize mascot :)

Pretty Writing.com ::  We're thankful Evette is not only an expert calligraphist and artist, but also that her visits to the Boutique always bring a burst of warmth and a pop of color!

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank YOU!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Trash the Dress

Trash the dress photo shoots are a controversial and growing trend in wedding photography. Trashing the dress involves essentially destroying the wedding dress to get artistic and unique photos and some object to the wasteful nature of the trend. However, what you choose to do with your wedding dress after "I do" is completely up to you!

Shot in the style of fashion photography, the trash the dress pictures often puts the bride in a setting where formal wear seems out of place. Trash the dress sessions allow for complete creativity on the part of the photographer as well as the subject. Going way beyond standard and stuffy bridal portraiture, the images are artful, beautiful and can really capture the spirit of the bride! Whether you're for it or against it, we can all agree that Trash the Dress shoots often produce unforgettable pictures.

Del Sol Photography based out of Riviera Maya, Mexico has elevated the trend to an art form. Their under water photographs are some of the most striking trash the dress images around.
